Traffic Ticket Defense

Our law office typically represents commercial and professional drivers and those drivers who are close to the negligent point suspension. We also represent many drivers who are charged with misdemeanor crimes such as hit and run, driving on a suspended license, reckless driving and driving without a valid license. However, we are happy to represent all drivers who wish to retain legal counsel to assist them with the court process in defense of their traffic citation.

Unfortunately, traffic defense is not a practice area taught in law school. A lot of the knowledge of traffic defenses, strategies and tactics are developed by years of experience and passed on from other traffic attorneys. I have been employed, worked as “of counsel” and been contracted to appear by several different traffic attorneys and traffic law firms. The knowledge I received with regard to different Vehicle Code sections, DMV points, commercial driver defenses over the years has been invaluable.

A high percentage of my infraction traffic cases are set for court trial or trial by declaration depending on the particular county court system. Most of the time whenever you retain private legal counsel you do not have to appear in court which greatly helps a lot of my commercial drivers and out of state clients who wish to contest their case in trial without having to pay the substantial travel expenses for each court appearance.
